Reporting and Accounting
Fiduciary Trust offers its clients comprehensive portfolio information services for greater insight.
Electronic Portfolio Monitoring
Fiduciary Trust provides portfolio information, including transaction activity and security holdings, through an electronic exchange of data. These interfaces are designed to simplify reconciliation and monitoring of investment activity.
Online Account Access
As a Fiduciary Trust client, you’ll benefit from online access to comprehensive portfolio information related to holdings, market valuation and transaction activity. You can monitor daily investment activity, cash positions, and industry or asset class allocations. Quick access to this information simplifies the reconciliation of portfolio changes and can provide a greater degree of control in monitoring your investment portfolios.
Information Gathering to Help You Make Informed Decisions
Fiduciary Trust’s multi-currency accounting system maintains the necessary records to collect and report on any dividends or interest payments earned from assets held by us in the portfolio. Relying on multiple information sources, Fiduciary Trust tracks and provides notification on all corporate actions affecting client portfolios—such as stock splits, mergers, tender offers, proxies, and tax-related reporting—giving clients the data they need to make informed decisions.
Customized Performance Measurement and Analysis
Our comprehensive account statements and reports provide you and your advisors with a transparent view of performance. They show results of each of the managers associated with your accounts, comparing their performance with industry-accepted indices or internal benchmarks. We can measure the performance of portfolios for single or multiple accounts, in a separate or consolidated form. Detailed reporting allows comparisons between different equity and fixed income investment managers or between specific accounts and the portfolio as a whole.
Categorized Tax Reporting
Our year-end tax reports provide a comprehensive view of your annual portfolio activity. Data is presented by major tax categories, such as long- and short-term capital gains and losses, qualified and non-qualified dividends, and interest income by source.
Portfolio Unitization Capabilities
Unitization accounting and reporting allows clients to pool assets from multiple accounts and create investment pools, based on asset class or investment style. Fiduciary Trust’s system offers a flexible and comprehensive reporting capability by unit holder, investment pool and investment manager.
